Zope Developer

We are looking for a Zope Developer to work a long term contract for our client in Portland, OR.  The requirements are as follows:

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Develop enhancements to PeerPoint web and desktop applications. 2. Support and debug existing PeerPoint web and desktop applications. 3. Develop our planned suite of web portal functions around PeerPoint, that will greatly enhance online content, community and collaboration among our users. 4. Implement full software development life cycle including inception, definition, design, implementation, QA, deployment and support. 5. Use industry best software project management and development practices. Requirements: 1. 4 years + experience in Software Development 2. Application Development experience using Python 2/Five, Zope, Plone, Javascript, CSS, HTML and PostgreSQL. 3. Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures. Understanding of HIPAA best practices a plus. 4. Experience with professional project management methodologies and tools such as Agile, UML, Use Case preparation, Object Modeling, ER diagrams, code archive and release using source safe, quality assurance testing, etc. 5. Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly 6.
