Python Developer

Our Client is in the process of developing a real time monitoring system to capture, collect, display, and manipulate sensor data associated with semiconductor wafer processing.  As each wafer is processed, sensor data is collected and written to a flat file.  The focus of this project is to read the sensor data from the wafer files, store statistical data in a database, provide fault notification, allow for visual display of raw sensor and statistical data. Significant development of this project has already been completed.  We are looking for an experience resource to assist in the development of this project.  The main will be to review, improve, and expand on our current capabilities.

Resource Requirements:

Python - core programming language
wxPython - GUI
MySQL - database
Matplot - graphing utility
C - supplemental programming language
Linux/Windows - Current development is being done in a Linux environment.  The application will need to run on both platforms.

Networking - Software will be able to run in local (onsite with direct connection to the tool) or remote (offsite with access through an ILS or equivalent server)
Additional:  The ideal candidate will possess the above requirements.  In addition, the candidate will be able to assist our lead developer in documentation / maintenance strategies.
