KBOO Community Radio Needs Your Help
KBOO Community Radio needs talented volunteer PHP developers to help us put together our new website. We've chosen Mambo Open Source as our CMS, and need help customizing specific functions, like the program guide, community calendar and media delivery (podcasting, streaming, RSS, torrent, etc.).
Additionally, one of our volunteers is putting the finishing touches on our new visual design, and we'll need help integrating that design into the Mambo (or Joomla) CMS.
One potential benefit of volunteering for this project is that KBOO is hosting the 31st Annual National Federation of Community Broadcasters convention - http://www.nfcb.org/ - in Portland April 19th - 22nd. KBOO already enjoys an excellent reputation among community broadcasters, and members of KBOO's "web development team" have a unique opportunity to highlight new features built into KBOO's new web site to community radio station managers and program directors from around the country.
Interested folks should please contact Dave Myers, (503) 294-1234, opensociety(at)gmail.com, or Chihiro Wimbush, (503) 231-8032, ext. 206, outreach(at)kboo.org.
Thanks!
