Meeting Desc:
Wil Clouser will be giving an introduction about what localization is and why it's important to consider for your web applications and sites, followed by some best practices to help you avoid common pitfalls. Since gettext libraries are built into PHP, we'll cover how you can use them to begin localizing your applications right away.

The PostgreSQL Community is organizing PostgreSQL Conference Fall 2007, a technical, one day conference in Portland, OR. It will be held on October 20th, 2007 at Portland State University. There will be a series of talks followed by a dinner and party.
